Challenge
When entering the UAE market, we encountered regulatory hurdles and transparency concerns. Our automated payment system, which allowed customers to shop without seeing their final bill, raised compliance and security issues that hindered deal acquisition in the region.
Action
To address regulatory and behavioural challenges, I led multiple workshops with potential client and integration partners. As a result, we collaboratively design a tailored solution, including real-time cart updates during the shopping journey. This enhanced transparency and ensured compliance, ultimately enabling the client to confidently sign the contract.
The impact
We secured a contract worth over a million dollars, and as a direct result of the new feature, we increased the SaaS monthly fee by 35%, transforming initial client hesitation into a successful market entry.
